So who are these DESIGNERS , you ask ???
HUNADI is a signature clothing brand for the tasteful and discerning individual. Attention to detail and immaculate finishes are no less than a given flair adding a sense of distinguished elegance. All Hunadi garments are proudly produced in South Africa by a team of highly skilled and passionate tailors. Our flagship store is situated on 25 Newport Road in Parkwood, a serene but central location in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg South Africa. The Spring/Summer collection is called Cloth Girl and is inspired by a setting in Ghana – West Africa, where we also sourced fabric for this collection. A key element of the Hunadi brand is the celebration of the African woman. Hunadi celebrates her strength, resilience and elegance. The lines in this collection are very feminine and timeless. Easy to wear and yet very distinctive. We accentuate the woman’s waist line throughout the collection –an element true to Hunadi in celebrating the woman as she is and not how the world expects her to be. The collection will be launched at the New York Fashion week this September. Hereafter we will have a private viewing and launch with the hunadi customers and the media.

KIYOMI COUTURE takes pleasure in providing you with one-of-a-kind, quality pieces to complete your classic fashion repertoire. Responding to the upwardly mobile, discerning woman’s need for unique fashion items, Kiyomi Couture hand-picks pieces from New York, Hong Kong and Dubai. We have some of this season’s freshest New York looks in store! Flattering jumpsuits for your classy nights on the town, unique day and night dresses and colourful work-to-drinks tops for that perfect transitional outfit. Kiyomi Couture – distinctively you

MORPHE means “to transform outwardly.” Morphé has a strong style signature feel and offers pieces that the wearer can easily incorporate with her existing wardrobe. Layering and interaction between the wearer and the garment is encouraged by pieces often being able to be worn in more than one way. This outward transformation allows the wearer to embrace their own individual tastes and personalities in a distinct ready-to-wear label. My clothing is a lot like dress-up for grown-ups, since it tends to have an edge of playfulness to it. I think that my clothing would attract wearers that feel excited about wearing both colour and texture, clothing that celebrates being alive. My new SS13/14 range showed at MBFWCT13 was very focused on offering the customer more pieces that are updates from previous key pieces such as the kimono dress that forms the DNA of what Morphe stands for : modern and comfortable ready to wear clothing.

This is defo an event all Fashionistas should not miss out.

KIEHLS COMES TO DURBAN

Standard

For all beauty bloggers the coming to South Africa of Kiehls was like a dream come true. The South African stores are the first in Africa yipee.

The first SA store was opened within Edgars in Sandton. I was super jealous that is until I want a box of goodies from them to try out .

Now Kiehls is opening in DURBAN 🙂 , at the Pavilion and within Edgars this weekend.

A little background of this brand

* The brand is 161 years old.
*its original flagship store is still in NEW YORK
*The brand never advertises
*the packaging is not fancy but contains useful information on the products.
*the staff are amazing and I even got a handwritten letter with my samples.
*the products are of an amazing quality and work wonders.

My alll time favourite product is :

Midnight Recovery Concentrate
Introduced in 2010, this is Kiehl’s number one bestseller at the moment. Described as “A Replenishing Elixir of Pure Essential Oils and Distilled Botanicals”, this serum includes lavender oil as well as omega 3, 6 and 9. Apply 2-3 drops before bed, on its own or over your night cream, and let it work its magic while your skin is most receptive to regeneration. The smell as well as the fact that it’s 99,8% naturally derived and free of parabens. It freshens up tired skin and contributes to a radiant glow (this one is a must after a big night out!). Don’t drop dead by the price – as you only use 2-3 drops a night, a 30ml bottle will last a long time.
Midnight Recovery Concentrate is R549 for 30ml. A little pricey but so worth it ! I am been very stingy with this bottle of mine 🙂
So do check them out on Twitter
