I have recently started paging through Carpe Diem or BUST by Cherie Roe Dirkson. I must admit I haven’t read it cover to cover but have stumbled across random parts that catch my attention.
One such post is about Skin The Goddess. Skin is the lead female of the British band Skunk Anansie. Cherie describes Skin as one of the most powerful women. Her reasoning for this is that “Skin embodies that strong and graceful energy yet she exudes that awesome male vibration.”.
Cherie goes on to say that men have been deprived of the female goddess energy that has been replaced by the submissive female energy in survival mode. She ends of with train of thought “We are all Gods and Goddesses and we should treat each other that way with love, respect and AWE. You are AWESOME and you are DIVINE! “.
So this got me thinking for several years now I have always called myself a Domestic Goddess and my blog been called Spicegoddess is definately no coincidence. I feel its the universe’s way of reminding me that indeed I am a Goddess. I am like Skin – strong, powerful and a lady too. And that is what makes me a Goddess.
Women of the world – ignite the Goddess within you and unleash your powers, grace and your femininity.
I truely believe after reading this in Cherie’s book it is indeed the universe reminding me of the fact that I am a Goddess, I deserve to be treated no less .
