Partner wishlist

Every girl has a list short or long of what they would like their future partner to be like.

It starts off with wanting a man exactly like our Fathers but then changes we become teenagers to movie stars who steal our hearts.We start of wanting a man that looks like a Prince who has a million rands and how will give us the Fairytale lifestyle.

But then reality sets in and we realise that Hollywood /Bollywood has given us very high expectations of love and then we get hurt…Over the years my Partner Wishlist has changed and be redefined but this comes only with age and experiences.

I feel like Bridget Jones sitting here writing a list of what my is on my Partner Wishlist:

1) A romantic and loving guy (often end up with guys who dont know how to even spell romance and will not see a girlie movie)

2)A guy who has a career and plans for his future (I dont want no scrub )

3) A guy who has a sense of humour and can make me laugh (not make jokes about me though)

4) A guy with nice hands *blush*

5) A man who can cook (that is such a sexy quality)

So my wishlist is not too long …….So maybe like Bridget I will find Mr Darcy…. one day…..

5 Favourite movies

Another one of my addictions is watching movies and series. I have 2 HDs full but my problem however is getting time to watch.They say good moves are generally ones who leave you feeling good, ones you watch over and over and ones you can quote lines from.

There are so many fantastic movies and series out there and in so many different genres. Its kinda difficult for me to pick 5 only but i will attempt too.

After writing this list, I have noticed I love British movies 🙂

Series watching is so addictive and time consuming. My friends, cousins and I swop and copy all the time from each other. I love having these as there are no adverts and you can watch more than one episode.Here gos my list 🙂

I love a good series that catches my attention love a good comedy though Thrillers and Mysteries keep me hooked. This list was harder to do as I love so many So what are you watching? What are your favourites? Let me know.

Valentines with Friends….

I feel it in my fingers , I feel it in my toes…..its the month of Love and all i see are hearts, red, pinks, teddy bears….

Every year this day love dawns upon us with the onslaught of the same romantic songs and movies. For all us singletons its a day we tend to dismiss in our calendars.I personally have never had a bf for love day and only seem to meet them later on in the year.

In London a group of my friends decided to celebrate this Love day in style and in keeping with the spirit of this day. We came up with the idea of a Secret Valentine where we each would pick a name from the hat and buy that person a Valentines gift.Our group was made up of guys and girls which was a great mix of all sorts.

Us singletons met for pre dinner cocktails and gift exchanging which was a barrel of laughs . Some of the gifts were very creative, naughty , cheesy and nice.We all were dressed up in our red and black finery that evening and went to our pre booked romantic Valentines dinner with friends . The evening was a great way to spend this day that is much dreaded by many with friends who make you laugh and care for you.

Yes I am a singleton very much like Bridget Jones and yes I am still a soppy romantic waiting for Mr Darcy….. who knows what this Love Day will bring
